Sunset Coast Bundle + Scenic Coast Specialty DSP

This card was my submission for a team swap that was themed "Celebrations". The new Sunset Coast bundle and Scenic Coast Specialty Paper make creating a card.... a breeze! Everything about this set is simply gorgeous and inspiring!

The detailed view really show how special this designer series paper is. That iridescent shimmer on the water is just gorgeous! I used an exacto knife to make a few simple cuts to extract the sailboat from a bigger die. Sail boat, Seagulls, sentiment and sequins to the card front.... and voila! A beautiful card!

Cutting Instructions:

Card base - Basic White Thick: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
Front matte layer - Night of Navy: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
Card front layer - DSP: 3 3/4" x 5"
Sail boat - Night of Navy: scrap to die cut 1
Seagulls - Basic White: scrap to die cut 3 (1 die cuts out all three)
Sentiment label - Basic White: 3/8" x 2 1/2"
Inner matte layer - Night of Navy: 3 7/8" X 5 1/8"
Inner message liner - Basic White: 3 3/4" x 5"
Inner DSP strip: 1/2" x 5"
Shell & Star fish - Petal Pink: scrap to die cut ( 1 die cuts out both)

Assembly Instructions:

Adhere DSP card front to front matte layer. Adhere to front of card base using dimensionals.
Using just a few cuts, extract Sailboat from scenic die. Adhere to card front using dimensionals.
Adhere seagulls to card front.
Using Night of Navy ink, stamp sentiment on label. Adhere to card front using dimensionals.
Scatter sequins on card front.
Adhere DSP strip to left side of inner message liner. Adhere to inner matte layer. Adhere to inner card base.
Using Timid Tiger ink and a sponge dauber, add splotchy ink to shell and starfish. Adhere to lower left corner of inner message liner.
