Natural Artistry - Seahorses

Natural Artistry + Fern & Flora Dies + Greenery Lane Stamp Set + Banner Sayings Bundle

This card was created for the Crafty Collaborations Monochromatic Insta Hop. The featured color was Misty Moonlight. To show off Misty Moonlight I used the Classic Stampin' Pad, Blending Brushes and the Two Tone cardstock.

There are no coordinating dies for the Natural Artistry Stamp Set, so I chose to fussy cut the seahorses.... 3 pieces.... 2 on the front and one inside.

To create the underwater scene, I used the blending brush to add ink darker on the bottom of the card front and lighter at the top. I then used a variety of stamps and foliage die cuts to create the underwater scene to place the Seahorse in.

Cutting Instructions:

Card base - Basic White Thick: 4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2"
Front matte layer - Misty Moonlight Two Tone: 3 3/4" x 5"
Card front layer - Basic White: 3 1/4" x 4 1/2"
Seahorses - Basic White: scrap to stamp and fussy cut 3 (2 on front and 1 inside)
Foliage - Misty Moonlight Two Tone: Scrap to cut 2-4 pcs (less or more for your preference)
Sentiment - Basic White: scrap to punch cut 1 pc
Inner matte layer- Misty Moonlight Two Tone: 3 3/4" x 5"
Inner message liner - Basic White: 3 3/8" x 4 7/8"

Assembly Instructions:

Using Misty Moonlight ink and a blending brush, apply to card front layer. I chose to make mine darker at the bottom and lighter at the top. Using Misty Moonlight ink, stamp a couple of foliage branches on card front.
Using the edge of a pair of scissors, distress the edges of the front matte layer. I chose to curl up two corners. Adhere card front layer to matte layer. Adhere to front of card base using dimensionals.
Using Misty Moonlight ink, stamp and fussy cut 3 seahorses. Adhere 2 to card front using dimensionals. I used one layer of dimensionals on one seahorse and stacked the dimensionals 2 high on the second seahorse.
Adhere die cut foliage.
Using Misty Moonlight ink, stamp sentiment on label. Adhere to card front using dimensionals.
Using Misty Moonlight ink & a blending brush, add ink to lower left corner of inner message liner. Using Misty Moonlight ink, stamp a small patch of foliage over the blended area. Adhere the remaining seahorse. Adhere to inner matte layer. Adhere to inner card base.
