Prairie Grass + Peaceful Pier

My Prairie Grass stamp set just arrived yesterday, and I couldn't wait to use it!  I was just as excited to use the sentiment from the Peaceful Pier stamp set, which also just arrived yesterday!

Prairie Grass + Peaceful Pier

I used a punched circle to create the moon, used a blending brush to apply the Blueberry Bushel ink on white cardstock, then stamped the Prairie Grass using Secret Sea.  It really doesn't get much easier than this.  It would be lovely to apply layers of sunset colors in place of the blue.  So many options!

Dressing up the inside of the card is important to me for every card, so I just had to add a bit of the grass on the inside too!  

Cutting Instructions:

• Card base - Blueberry Bushel: 4-1/4" x 11", scored at 5-1/2".  This is a top fold card.
• Front matte layer - Basic White: 3-7/8" x 5-1/8"
• Card front layer - Basic White: 3-3/4" x 5"
• Circle for moon- Any color: Punch 1 circle
• Sentiment matte layer - Basic White: 1-1/8" x 1-3/8"
• Sentiment layer- Basic White: 1" x 1-1/4"
• Inner message liner - Basic White: 3-3/4" x 5"

Assembly Instructions:

• Place circle for moon placement on card front (I held mine in place with a looped pc of post-it tape).  Using Blueberry Bushel ink and a blending brush, apply ink to card front.  I chose to go darker around the perimeter of the card front, and lighter around the masked off moon.  Remove circle.
• Using Secret Sea ink, stamp Prairie Grass.  
• Adhere card front to front matte layer.  Adhere to front of card base using dimensionals.
• Using Blueberry Bushel ink and blending brush, cover the sentiment layer.  Using Versamark ink, stamp sentiment.  Coat in Embossing powder and heat set.  Adhere to sentiment matte layer.  Adhere to card front using dimensionals.
• Using Blueberry Bushel ink and blending brush, apply ink to lower left corner of inner message liner.  Using Secret Sea ink, stamp a small section of Prairie Grass.  Adhere to inner card base.
