Forever Florals Dies + Phrases & Frames Stamp Set

Last month I made this birthday card for my dear friend Carol. I love coloring, so I really enjoyed coloring all the flowers and leaves with my Stampin' Blends. This was my first project using the new Stampin' Up! 2026 - 2028 In Color Hydrangea Hue.

In this detail view you can clearly see that made some of the flowers darker and some of them lighter. I did the same with the leaves, but it isn't showing in the photo. I love how these two colors played together so well.

Cutting Instructions:

Card base - Basic White: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
Card front under layer - Basic White: 3 3/4" x 5"
Card front - Basic White: 3 3/4"" x 5". Apply Adhesive Sheet to the back of the cardstock prior to die cutting.
Front matte layer - Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4"
Sentiment under layer - Hydrangea Hue: 2 1/2" x 3", use the smaller of the tall label dies.
Sentiment label - Basic White: 2" x 3", use the longer label die.
Flowers - Basic White: scrap to die cut 2 pieces
Leaves - Basic White: scrape to die cut 2 pieces
Inner matte layer - Hydrangea Hue: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
Inner message liner - Basic White: 3 3/4" x 5"
Ribbon: 10"

Assembly Instructions:

Color die cut card front using Hydrangea Hue and Lemon Lime Twist Stampin' Blends. Peel adhesive sheet backer off of the back and adhere to card front under layer. Adhere to front matte layer. Adhere to front of card base.
Using Hydrangea Hue ink, stamp sentiment on label. Adhere to Hydrangea Hue sentiment under layer. Adhere to center of card using dimensionals.
Using Hydrangea Hue and Lemon Lime Twist Stampin' Blends color 2 small die cut flower bundles and die cut leaves. Using mini glue dots, add flowers and leaves to two opposing corners under the sentiment label.
Adhere bow using a mini glue dot.
Scatter gems on card front.
Using Hydrangea Hue and Lemon Lime Twist ink, stamp flowers and leaves in the lower left corner of the inner message liner. Using Hydrangea Hue ink, stamp sentiment on inner message liner. Adhere to inner matte layer. Adhere to inner card base.
