Today I am participating in Kylie Bertucci's International Blog Highlights Winners Hop. You can see the card that earned me a spot into the top 10 HERE. Thank you to everyone that voted for my card, allowing me to participate in todays winners hop.
Below you will find a list of links to everyone's projects that you won't want to miss out on. I personally love all the inspiration I receive from these Blog Hops and I know you will too.
For today's card, I really wanted to create floating magnolia's across the front of the card. I did that by adhering all of them with dimensionals. I love how it turned out! Enjoy this free tutorial. I hope you will make this card for yourself!
Cutting instructions:
- Card Base - Petal Pink: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4". This is a side fold card.
- Front matte layer - Pebbled Path: 5 3/8" x 4 1/8"
- Card front layer - Petal Pink: 5 1/4" x 4"
- Flowers - Basic White: Scrap to stamp and die cut 4 flower clusters
- Inner matte layer - Pebbled Path: 5 3/8" x 4 1/8"
- Inner message liner - Basic White: 5 1/4" x 4"
Assembly instructions:
- Use bone folder to burnish score line.
- Using blending brush, apply Petal Pink ink to Petal Pink card front layer.
- Using Pebbled Path ink, stamp 4 large flower clusters. Use Light Calypso Coral Stampin' Blend to color center of large flower, Light Petal Pink Stampin' Blend to color highlights on flower petals and Light Sea Foam Stampin' Blend to color the leaves. Die cut. Adhere to card front layer using dimensionals. Trim off excess using paper snips.
- Adhere card front layer to front matte layer. Adhere to front of card base.
- Using blending brush, apply Petal Pink ink to Basic White card stock. Using Pebbled Path ink, stamp sentiment. Die cut label. Adhere to front of card using dimensionals.
- Attach a double Linen Thread bow.
- Scatter pearls on card front.
- Using Pebbled Path ink, stamp small image in corner of message liner. Using Stampin' Blends color to coordinate with front of card.
- Adhere message liner to inner matte layer. Adhere in inner card base.
