Enduring Beauty Thank You card

Enduring Beauty

Enduring Beauty- detail view

So I have a passion for greens and pinks on a card.  I can't help it..... these colors just call to me.  Granny Apple Green and Melon Mambo are two of my favs and the Enduring Beauty stamp set just screamed for me to use these bright colors.

I made this card for Kylie Bertucci's Monthly International Blog Highlights.  The theme is "Thank You".  I love making thank you cards.  Sending a thank you card is one of the easiest ways to show people that we appreciate them and their kindness.  You will find the free instructions below.

I would appreciate your vote for my card.  Go to this link and vote for your top favorite 5 cards of the submissions.  Vote by clicking the heart in the upper right corner of the photo.   The top 10 winners participate in a Winners Blog Hop with Kylie at the end of month.

Cutting Instructions:
  • Card base - Basic White: 4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2".  This is a side fold card.
  • Card front - Basic White: 3 1/2" x 4 3/4" - this layer will be embossed with the Fern 3D embossing folder
  • Floral image - Basic White: 4 1/2" x 4 1/2"
  • Leaves - Basic White: Scrap to die cut 6 leaves
  • Sentiment - Basic Black: 3" x 1 1/2"
  • Inner message liner: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
Assembly Instructions:
  • Using bone folder, burnish score line.
  • Use Fern 3D embossing folder to emboss card front.  Adhere to front of card base.
  • Using Tuxedo black ink, stamp floral image.
  • Using Melon Mambo ink and blending brush with mask #1 of the Enduring Beauty Masks, blend in ink for flowers.
  • Using Granny Apple Green ink and blending brush with mask #2 of the Enduring Beauty Masks, blend in ink for leaves.
  • Using Melon Mambo ink and blending brush with mask #3 of the Enduring Beauty Masks, blend in ink for detail on flowers.  I used a light hand so that the detail wasn't too dramatic.
  • Using Granny Apple Green ink and blending brush with mask #4 of the Enduring Beauty Masks, blend in ink for detail on the leaves.
  • Use outline die to die cut floral image.  Adhere to card front using dimensionals.
  • Using Granny Apple Green ink and blending brush apply to Basic White cardstock before using detail dies to cut out leaves.  Apply leaves to floral arrangement using adhesive.
  • Using Versamark ink, stamp sentiment on Basic Black cardstock.  Coat with White embossing powder and flick off excess.  Use heat tool to heat set powder.  Use label die from Enduring Beauty dies to die cut sentiment label.  Adhere to card front using dimensionals.
  • Apply bow using mini glue dot.
  • Scatter adhesive backed sequins on card front.
  • Adhere 2 leaves to inner message liner.  Adhere to inner card base.
