I really love to make cards with lots of layers.... that's my "go to" style.  But every now and then I want to do something a bit more on the simple and elegant.  That is what was on my mind today.  I wanted to pull out my Stampin' Blends and make a simple card.  I really love how this card turned out.  The Courage and Faith stamp set was just perfect for my mood today.

Cutting instructions:
  • Card base- Very Vanilla thick: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2",  scored at 4 1/4".  This is a side fold card.
  • Front matte layer 1 - Lost Lagoon: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
  • Front matt layer 2 - Wild Wheat: 3 3/4" x 5"
  • Card front - Very Vanilla: 3 5/8" x 4 7/8"
  • Inner matte layer - Wild Wheat: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
  • Inner message liner - Very Vanilla: 3 3/4" x 5"
Assembly instructions:
  • Using bone folder, burnish score line
  • Using Pretty Peacock ink, stamp sentiment  and laurels on card front.  Color in laurels using Light Lost Lagoon and Light Wild Wheat.
  • Emboss card front using Timber 3D embossing folder.  Adhere to matte layer 2.  Adhere to matte layer l.  Adhere to front of card base using dimensionals.
  • Using Pretty Peacock ink, stamp laurels on inner message liner.  Color in laurels using Light Lost Lagoon and Light Wild Wheat.  Adhere to inner matte layer.  Adhere to inner card base.
