Fern & Flora Color Challenge

Fern & Flora Bundle + Banner Sayings Bundle + Textured Tree Ring Embossing Folder

This card was created for the July Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop. You will find the list of participants below the tutorial in this post.  You won't want to miss out on seeing everyones projects.

It is fun to break out of my normal design style and test color combo's that I would not normally gravitate to.  Be sure to check out the inside of my card too!

I was able to use all the colors in this challenge.  The Smoky Slate is subtle, as I used a blending brush to apply it to the center of the card front prior to embossing that layer.  I wish I had some Real Red dots to use.  Normally I would color something with my Stampin' Blends, but I didn't have a single dot, pearl or rhinestone available to color!!

Isn't the texture from the Textured Tree Ring Embossing Folder just great??!  And the detail dies from the Fern & Flora Bundle are just amazing!
