Extraordinary Flora Bundle + Phrases & Frames Bundle + Paradise Garden Hybrid Embossing Folder

May 2026 is a color challenge

I chose to use the Extraordinary Flora Bundle to create my card. I also chose to use the Phrases & Frames bundle for the sentiments and the beautiful impression dies.

To color my flower's, I used a blending pen and ink directly from my ink pads.... and then I just colored the flowers and leaves.

The flower & leaves stamp is one large stamp and comes with a coordinating die, so the flowers all cut out in one pass of the Stampin' Emboss & Cutting machine.

The frame die is a detail die, so it goes through once to cut it out, then you flip it over with the die still in place, and run it through again using the impressions plate..... this allows for the intricate details to be enhanced.

Cutting Instructions:

Card base - Basic White Thick: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
Front matte layer - Azure Afternoon: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
Card front layer - Basic White: 3 3/4" x 5". This layer is embossed
Frame - Basic White: 3" x 4 1/2". This is a detail die, be sure to follow the embossing plate instructions for the detail plate. Keep the cut out center.
Flowers - Basic White: 4" x 6"
Inner matte layer - Azure Afternoon: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
Inner message liner - Basic White: 3 3/4" x 5"
Linen Thread: 18"

Assembly Instructions:

Adhere embossed card front to front matte layer. Adhere to front of card base.
Using Azure Afternoon ink, stamp sentiment on the center cut away from the frame. Adhere to card front using dimensionals. Adhere frame using Adhesive Foam Strips. I chose these because they are a little taller than the regular dimensionals.
Using Basic Black ink, stamp flowers (one stamp for all flowers & leaves) Using Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Poppy Parade, Garden Green inks and a blending pen, color flowers and leaves. Using coordinating die, cut out flowers & leaves. Arrange flowers & leaves on focal point frame, using mini glue dots to adhere. Save one flower and one leafy branch to use on inside of card.
Adhere double Linen Thread bow using a mini glue dot.
Scatter Berry Burst gems on card front.
Using Azure Afternoon ink, stamp sentiment on inner card. Adhere remaining flower and leafy branch to lower left corner of message liner. Adhere to inner matte layer. Adhere to inner card base.
