Today I have submitted this card into Kylie Bertucci's Monthly International Blog Highlights.  The theme is " Thank You".  I love participating in this event because I am always inspired by all of the talented card makers.  I learn something new every month, and I know you will too!

Cutting instructions: 
  • Card base: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4".  This is a top fold card
  • Card front: 5 1/4" x 4".  This layer is embossed.
  • DSP across card front: 5 1/4" x 1 1/2"
  • Matte layer for DSP across card front: 5 1/4" x 1 3/4"
  • 2 DSP banners: Use largest banner label in Stylish Shapes Dies
  • Die cut 1 set of flowers from Painted Lavender Dies
  • Die cut 1 set of leaves from Painted Lavender Dies
  • Square base for focal point: Use 3rd largest square die in Stylish Shapes Dies
  • Sentiment label: Use smallest banner label in Stylish Shapes Dies
  • Inner message liner: 4" x 5 1/4"
  • Linen Thread: 20" est.
Assembly instructions:
  • Burnish score line using bone folder.
  • Adhere embossed card front to front of card base.
  • Adhere 5 1/4" x 1 1/2" DSP to matte layer.  Adhere to front of card.
  • Trim ends of banner cut DSP, adhere to card front using dimensionals
  • Using Pretty Peacock ink, stamp leaves on square focal point background.
  • Assemble flower and leaf die cuts using mini glue dots.  Place behind left side of square focal point.  Adhere square to card front using dimensionals.
  • Using Pretty Peacock ink, stamp sentiment (I used just the first 2 words of one of the sentiments in Perennial Postage stamp set).  Die cut using smallest banner label die from Stylish Shapes dies.  Adhere to focal point using dimensionals.
  • Add Brushed Brass Butterflies.  I only used one.
  • Tie doouble bow using Linen Thread and attach using mini glue dot.
  • Using Pretty Peacock ink, stamp inner message liner.  Adhere to inner card base.
