Today I am participating in Kylie Bertucci's International Blog Highlights Winners Hop. You can find my original winning card post here. The theme for this winners hop is gratitude.
I am so inspired by autumn leaves. They change colors, texture, smell and sound. I am very My original winning card had an autumn design and I decided to use autumn again for the Winners Hop. I really had a hankering to do lots of layers and a few extra details. I have a love of avid crafting and sometimes I just can't control myself. So today I used 2 stamp sets, 2 die sets, 2 embossing folders... LOL! I'm super happy with how this card turned out. I hope you enjoy it too.
Cutting instructions
- Card base - Basic White thick: 4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2". This is a top fold card.
- Front matte layer - Early Espresso: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
- Card front - Basic white: 3 3/4" x 5"
- Leaves - Copper Clay: Stamp and die cut 5
- Wood cuts bark ring - Pecan Pie: Hybrid emboss / die cut 2
- Wood cuts inner section - very vanilla: Hybrid emboss / die cut 2 (I added Pecan Pie ink to inside of embossing folder to show the rings)
- Branches - Early Espresso: die cut 4
- Nut shells - Pecan Pie: die cut 5 ( I used a dauber to add Pecan Pie ink to the edges of the shells to create depth.
- Sentiment - Basic White: Stamp with Early Espresso ink, then I fussy cut the sentiment out.
- Nut tops - Early Espresso: die cut 5
- Inner matte layer - Early Espresso: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
- Inner message liner- Basic White: 3 3/4" x 5"
