I've recently mentioned that John and I have been on a whirlwind of activities.... and then we caught covid. Amid the chaos, people that we love have lost loved ones and because of us being sick.... we could not be with them. So it was important for me to stop the spinning of making samples for swaps, card challenges, mailings, etc..... and just take the time to pay our respects. It means so much to me that I can hand craft a card for people that we love. Hand making cards hold a very special place in my heart.
Instructions:
- Card base- Very Vanilla Thick: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4". This is a side fold card.
- Mask: Scrap of cardstock. Die cut Deckled Rectangle from center.
- Card front - Very Vanilla: 3 1/2" x 4 3/4". Using mask, add ink to card front using blending brush.
- Sentiment: Stamp and die cut using label die from Meadow dies.
- Die cut 1 leaf - Pretty Peacock. Adhere to center front card front.
- Die cut 1 flower - Fresh Freesia. Using Dark Pretty Peacock Stampin' Blend pen, color stem and leaf. Using Dark Fresh Freesia Stampin' Blend pen, color flower. Adhere to center front card front over leaf stem.
- Thread ribbon through ends of sentiment label, then tape ends of ribbon on back side of card front. Adhere card front to front of card base using dimensionals. Add bow to sentiment label using mini glue dot.
- Scatter gems on card front.
- Inner message liner - Very Vanilla: 4" x 5 1/4". Stamp image and message. Adhere to inner card base.
Thank you for visiting my blog today!
Hugs,
Teah
