My project coordinates with a baby gift that I have knitted for a family member. I love that I can coordinate my cards and tags with my gifts. You can too! Sometimes, it coordinates through theme, or even just colors. It's up to you. For my card today, I just had to go as far as my scrap bin to find the coordinating colors.
Here are the instructions for this card :)
Cutting instructions:
- Card base - Very Vanilla Thick: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
- Front matte layer - Garden Green: 2nd largest Scalloped Contour Die
- Card front - Very Vanilla: 2 5/8" 3 7/8"
- Flowers - Flirty Flamingo: die cut 6 sets of petals to create 3 flowers
- Flower centers - Very Vanilla: die cut 3 flower centers
- Leaves - Garden Green: die cut 2 leaf stems
- Sentiment - Very Vanilla: 1" x 1 1/2"
- Inner matte layer - Garden Green: 2nd largest Scalloped Contour Die
- Inner message liner - Very Vanilla: 2 5/8" 3 7/8"
- Ribbon: 12"
Assembly Instructions:
- Burnish score line with bone folder. This is a side fold card
- Emboss card front using Fern 3 D embossing folder. Adhere to front matte layer. Adhere to front of card base using dimensionals
- Using bone folder, curl flower petals gently. Adhere 2 sets of petals together in the center using mini glue dots. Adhere flower centers using mini glue dots.
- Adhere leaves using multipurpose adhesive. Adhere flowers using dimensionals. Add gems to centers of flowers.
- Add bow to side of flower arrangement using mini glue dot.
- Using Garden Green ink, stamp and die cut sentiment. Adhere to card front using dimensionals.
- Adhere inner message liner to inner matte layer. Adhere to inner card base.
