Flourish & Frames in Timid Tiger

Flourish & Frames Bundle + Swiss Dot Hot Foil Plate + Sweetly Sentimental Hot Foil Dies

Timid Tiger is this weeks Monochromatic Insta Hop featured color.  This is usually the point that I state how easy the card was to make..... but this card was more labor intensive.  Hot foil on the card front, on the focal point and the sentiment.  Hot foiling, while beautiful, does add an extra couple of steps while creating a card.

I wanted green leaves, so not only did I fussy cut the flowers, but the leaves too.  Well ok, so I fussy cut the bee as well.

Copper hot foil was used with the Swiss Dot Hot foil Plate for the card front.  Then Copper hot foil was used again for the focal point and the sentiment.  I saved a couple of stripes from the Swiss Dot hot foiling to use on the inner card as well.

The flowers have been stamped in Timid Tiger and lightly colored using a blending brush.  The leaves are Soft Sea Foam.  I then used Wink of Stella for a touch of shine.

The bee was stamped in Basic Black, then the stripes were colored with Timid Tiger Stampin' Blends.  The leaves on the wings were colored with Soft Sea Foam.  Wink of Stella was also used on the bee for a bit of shine.
