Glow of Harvest Thank You Card

If you have followed me for any amount of time, you know I have a special place in my heart for pumpkins. My youngest daughter was born on Halloween and our family has used pumpkins for many birthday events. Super tender memories for me. When I saw the pumpkins on this product of the month, I made sure I got mine early!

I have paired this gorgeous paper with the Country Woods 12" x 12" DSP (on sale through the end of the month).

The pumpkins are fussy cut from one of the sheets of Glow of Harvest specialty paper.

Just look at that shimmer! So pretty! I heat embossed the font sentiment using gold embossing powder. To coordinate well with the linen thread, I used the Pearls of Beauty as my gems. FYI... the Pearls of Beauty are on the last chance list and are discounted.

Pecan Pie ink + a sponge dauber was used to add color to the edge of the DSP and the fussy cut pumpkins.

Cutting Instructions:

Card base - Basic White Thick: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
Card front matte layer- Pecan Pie: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
Card front layer- Glow of Harvest DSP #1: 3 3/4" x 5"
Focal point matte layer - Pecan Pie: 2 3/8" x 5"
Focal point layer - Country Woods DSP: 2 1/4" x 5"
Pumpkins - Glow of Harvest DSP #2: Fussy cut 5 pumpkins
Inner matte layer - Pecan Pie: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
Inner message liner - Basic White: 3 3/4" x 5"
Inner DSP Strip - Country Woods DSP: 3/8" x 5"
Inner DSP Strip - Glow of Harvest DSP #1: 3/8" x 5"
Linen Thread: 36"

Assembly Instructions:

Using Pecan Pie ink and a sponge dauber, add ink around the edges of the card front DSP. Adhere card front to matte layer. Adhere to front of card base.
Using Versamark ink, stamp sentiment on focal point DSP. Coat with Gold embossing powder and heat set.
Using Pecan Pie ink and a sponge dauber, add ink around the edges of the focal point DSP. Adhere to matte layer. Wrap linen thread around horizontally, attaching ends on the back using tape. Adhere to card front using dimensionals.
Fussy cut 5 pumpkins from DSP. Using Pecan Pie ink and a sponge dauber, apply ink to edges of pumpkins. Adhere to focal point using dimensionals.
Adhere linen thread bow using mini glue dot.
Scatter pearls on focal point.
Using Pecan Pie ink and sponge dauber, apply ink to edges of both inner DSP strips. Adhere to left side of the inner message liner. Using Pecan Pie ink, stamp inner sentiment. Adhere message liner to inner matte layer. Adhere to inner card base.
