Velvet Meadow is offered in the current May - August catalog. This card is make n take #2 from the Velvet Meadow Suite that I sent to my customers for their orders in May. I love to send kits to my customers when they select me as their demonstrator!!

This specialty designer series paper is so special, with flocked bits within each of 6 designs. With paper like this you don't want to over-design your cards.... or the special elements will be lost.

I chose to really show off this paper by keeping the card design simple. Two tone framing of the paper helps the colors to pop! For this sentiment, I've used the square dies from the Stylish Shapes Dies.

Cutting Instructions:

Card base - Berrry Burst: 4 1/4" x 11", score at 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
Front matte layers - Peaceful Pine: 1" x 4" and 4" x 4"
Card front layer - DSP: 7/8" x 3 7/8" and 3 7/8" x 3 7/8"
Sentiment label matte layer - Berry Burst: 2 1/2" x 2 1/2". Use 2nd largest square to die cut.
Sentiment label - Basic White: 2 1/4" x 2 1/4", use 3rd largest square to die cut.
Inner matte layer - Peaceful Pine: 4" x 4"
Inner message liner - Basic White: 3 7/8" x 3 7/8"
Linen Thread: 18"

Assembly Instructions:

Adhere left spine of Berry Burst closed, betweeen the scorelines. The score line at 4 1/4" is now the opening fold line.
Adhere DSP card front layers to front matte layers. Adhere the skinny set on the left side spine. Adhere bigger matted square on the right side.
Using Berry Burst ink, stamp sentiment on label. Adhere coordinating matte layer. Adhere to card front using dimensionals.
Adhere bow using mini glue dots.
Scatter pearls on card front.
Adhere inner message liner to inner matte layer. Adhere to inner card base.
