This card is my submission Crafty Challenge Blog Hop. This month we are designing for a sketch challenge. I've been wanting to create a mostly black and white card, and this sketch was the perfect opportunity!

Summer is such a busy time.... Somehow I was the only Blog Hop participant this month. So I hope you enjoy this tutorial :)

This was really simple.... The entire pack of Artistic Sketched Garden mix and matches beautifully. Even the flowers on the outside and inside are from the same pack of black and white DSP. I colored with Stampin' Blends (I love them!) then fussy cut the flowers out. I love the end result!

Cutting Instructions:

Card base - Basic White: 4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2"
Card front layer - DSP #1: 4" x 5 1/4"
Horizontal layer - DSP #2: 2" x 5 1/4"
Rectangle matte layer - Basic White: 3" x 3 3/4"
Rectangle DSP layer: 2 3/4" x 3 1/2"
Focal point circle - Basic White: 3" x 3", use 2nd largest circle to die cut.
Flowers - DSP: Fussy cut from DSP
Sentiment label - Basic White: scrap to punch 1 piece
Inner matte layer - DSP: 4" x 5 1/4"
Inner message liner - Basic White: 3 3/4" x 5"
Inner Flower - DSP: Fussy cut

Assembly Instructions:

Adhere DSP card front layer to front of card base. Adhere horizontal layer to front of card base.
Adhere DSP rectangle to Basic White rectangle matte layer. Adhere to card front using dimensionals.
Color flowers using Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends. Fussy cut and adhere to circle. Adhere to card front using dimensionals.
Using Basic Black ink, stamp sentiment on label. Adhere to card front using dimensionals.
Adhere linen thread bow using mini glue dots.
Scatter pearls on card front.
Color inner flower using Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends. Fussy cut and adhere to inner message liner. Adhere to inner matte layer. Adhere to inner card base.
