Extraordinary Life Stamp Set + Floral Flight Accents

Extraordinary Life Stamp Set + Floral Flight Accents

I started by applying Azure Afternoon ink on Basic White cardstock using a blending brush. I wanted a gradient look.... light at the bottom and darker in the upper left corner. I heat embossed the sentiment using Black embossing powder.... and I got it crooked.... yup, crooked! Normally I would start over and get it right....... but I really loved how my gradient had turned out, so I kept it as is. I used mini glue dots to adhere the butterflies to the card front (and another on the inside).

Cutting Instructions:

Card base - Basic White Thick: 4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2"
Front matte layer - Azure Afternoon: 4" x 5 1/4"
Card front layer - Basic White: 3 3/4" x 5"
Inner matte layer - Azure Afternoon: 4" x 5 1/4"
Inner message liner - Basic White: 3 3/4" x 5"

Assembly Instructions:

Using Azure Afternoon ink and a blending brush, apply ink to card front layer. I started in the upper right hand corner and blended down.
Using Versamark ink, stamp sentiment on card front layer. Coat with Black embossing powder and heat set.
Adhere card front layer to front matte layer. Adhere to front of card base.
Adhere butterflies to card front using mini glue dots.
Scatter dots on card front.
Using Azure Afternoon ink and a blending brush, apply ink to upper right corner of inner message liner. Using Basic Black ink, stamp sentiment on message liner. Adhere butterfly using mini glue dots. Adhere liner to inner matte layer. Adhere to inner card base.
