Nature's Symphony in Blueberry Bushel

Nature's Symphony Dies + Everyday Arches Dies + Birch Wood Embossing Folder

This weeks featured Stampin' Up! color is Blueberry Bushel. For this design, I've used Blueberry Bushel ink and a blending brush on Basic White cardstock to create the lighter tone of Blueberry Bushel prior to die cutting the branch of leaves. The Birch Wood embossing folder creates just enough texture to enhance the leaves but not overpower the simplicity of this design.

Prayers & Promises Stamp Set

Cutting Instructions:

Card base - Basic White Thick: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", score at 4 1/4"
Background arch - Basic White: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2", Use largest arch die. This layer is embossed.
Front arch frame - Basic White Thick: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". Use largest arch for out cut and 4th largest die for inner cut.
Leaves - Basic White: 4" x 4"
Sentiment Label - Blueberry Bushel: scrap to stamp and punch cut
Inner message liner - Basic White: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2", use largest arch die to cut.
Inner leaves - Basic White: scrap to die cut just a small branch

Assembly Instructions:

Adhere embossed background arch to front of card base. Adhere arched frame to top of embossed layer using dimensionals.
Using Blueberry ink and a blending brush, apply ink to 4" x 4" Basic White. I made mine darker in one corner and lighter in the diagonal corner. Die cut leaves (1 full branch + 1 small branch to apply to inner card). Adhere leaves to card front using dimensionals and mini glue dots.
Using Versamark ink, stamp sentiment on a scrap of Blueberry Bushel cardstock. Coat in white embossing powder and heat set. Punch label and adhere using dimensionals.
Scatter pearls on card front as desired.
Using Blueberry Bushel ink, stamp sentimen on inner message liner. Adhere to inner card base. Adhere small leaf brach along the message liner.
