Beautiful Gallery Friend Card

Everyday Arches Dies + Wood Grain Wonders DSP + Beautiful Gallery DSP

I have created today's card as a participant in the Share It Sunday Blog Hop. I've used the Wood Grain Wonders DSP to create a frame around a scene from the Beautiful Gallery DSP.

The hardest part of designing this card was to decide how wide I wanted the arched frame to be. If you need a quick card, this layout would be extremely easy to swap out DSPs or color to fit your need.

Inner View

Cutting Instructions:

Card base - Basic Beige: 4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2"
Focal point - Beautiful Gallery DSP: 3" x 4 1/2", use fifth largest arches die to cut.
Frame under layer - Basic Beige: 4" x 5", use third largest arched die to cut outer edge and fifth largest die to cut inner edge
Frame - Wood Grain Wonders DSP: 4" x 5", use third largest arched die to cut outer edge and fifth largest die to cut inner edge. When cutting the frame and the frame underlayer, I adhered the cardstock and DSP together first, then run it through the die cutting.
Sentiment label - Basic Beige: scrap, use smallest of the longer banner dies to cut.
Sentiment label contrast ends - DSP: scrap, use smallest of the longer banner dies to cut.
Inner matte layer - Wood Grain Wonders DSP: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
Inner message liner - Basic Beige: 3 5/8" x 4 7/8"
Inner DSP strip: 3/8" x 4 7/8"

Assembly Instructions:

Adhere scenic focal point DSP to front of card base.
Adhere frame using dimensionals.
Using Early Espresso ink, stamp sentiment on label. Cut the DSP sentiment label in half, and adhere to each end of the stamped sentiment label. Adhere to card front using dimensionals.
Scatter gems on card front as desired.
Adhere DSP strip to left side of inner message liner. Adhere to inner matte layer. Adhere to inner card base.
