Twisted In Time

The Twisted In Time stamp set is a Stampin' Up! Online Exclusive. One of my stamping friends, Carol, made a card using this set that was really pretty. This set had been released while I was in recovery mode, so I had totally missed it even being introduced. Once I saw it, I just had to make this simple card with the image stamped on the designer series paper.

This was so easy to make! The free tutorial is below and the product list is at the end of this post. I love cards with tons of layers, but sometimes you just need a simple card. This one fits the bill just perfectly!

Cutting Instructions:

Card base - Basic White Thick: 4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2". This is a top fold card.
Front matte layer - Basic Black: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
Card front layer - DSP: 3 3/4" x 5"
Sentiment label matte layer - Basic Black: 7/8" x 2 3/8"
Sentiment label - DSP: 3/4" x 2 1/4"
Inner matte layer - Basic Black: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
Inner message liner - Basic White: 3 3/4" x 5"
Inner DSP strips - DSP: 3/8" x 3 3/4" - cut 2 pcs

Assembly Instructions:

Burnish scoreline on cardbase using bone folder.
Using Tuxedo Black ink, stamp tree trunk image, and tree leaf image on DSP card front layer. Adhere to front matte layer. Adhere to front of card base using dimensionals.
Using Tuxedo Black ink, stamp sentiment on sentiment label. Adhere to sentiment matte layer. Adhere to card front.
Adhere DSP strips to inner message liner. Adhere to inner message liner. Adhere to inner card base.
