I have a group of friends that are all sweet treat addicts.   Now I say that in the most loving way I possibly can.   So when I saw that there was going to be a Sweet Treats Blog Hop, I just knew I had to participate!!  I chose candy for my sweet treat and the pinata in the Taco Fiesta stamp set was just perfect!

You know the frilly tissue that covers a pinata?...... Well I used a die from the Paper Florist Dies to mimic that look!  AND.....I love it!  I also used several of my favorite bright colors, so this card makes me feel good.  

• Card base: 4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2".  This is a top fold card
• Front matte layer: 4" x 5 1/4".  Adhere this to the front of the card base using dimensionals.
• Card front: 3 3/4" x 5".  Using a blending brush, lightly apply Tahitian Tide to center of blank card front.  This will create some dimension behind the pinata.
• Stamp pinata. Color using Stampin' Blends Daffodil Delight, Tahitian Tide, Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie.  Fussy cut.  Attach bakers twine to back and from center top of card front.  Adhere pinata to card front using dimensionals.
• Stamp candy around pinata.  Color using Stampin' Blends Daffodil Delight, Tahitian Tide, Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie. 
• Using the detail die from the Paper Florist Dies, cut 2 each of Daffodil Delight, Tahitian Tide, Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie.  Adhere to top and bottom of card front.  Trim excess from sides of card front.  Adhere to front matte layer
• Detail die cut Happy Birthday from Wanted To Say dies.  Adhere to top of card front.
• Scatter gems.
• Inner matte layer: 4" x 5 1/4".  Adhere to inner card base
• Inner message liner: 3 3/4" x 5".  Stamp candy across the top of message liner.  Color using Stampin' Blends Daffodil Delight, Tahitian Tide, Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie. Adhere to inner matte layer
