This is so exciting!!  Yesterday I kicked off a 2 weeks of posting Valentines themed cards.   Todays card features a non-traditional color palette of Lost Lagoon, Pretty Peacock and Crumb Cake.  I used the stamps and the hybrid embossing folder to create this design.  I just love how this card turned out and I hope you do too!

Cutting Instructions:
  • Card base: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 2 1/8" and 6 1/4".  This card folds from both sides.
  • Front matte layer: 4" x 4"
  • Card front layer: 3 3/4" x 3 3/4".  This layer is embossed and die cut using the Adoring Hearts Hybrid Embossing Folder
  • Card front under-layer: 3 11/16" x 3 11/16"
  • Sentiment:  3" x 2"
  • Inner matte layer: 4" x 5 1/4"
  • Inner message liner: 3 3/4" x 5"
  • Linen thread: approximately 50"
Assembly Instructions:
  • Using bone folder, burnish score lines so that edges of card meet in the middle of the front of the card base.
  • Using Crumb Cake ink, stamp tonal pattern across front of card base.
  • Line up card front over card front under-layer.  Using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, stamp hearts inside the center of the die cuts.  Using Lost Lagoon and Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blends color in stamped hearts.
  • Using blending brush and Lost Lagoon ink, blend in on Basic White card front layer that has already been die cut and embossed.  This will allow for the raised hearts to be darker and all the cut edges to accept die a little heavier.  Adhere card front to card front uner-layer.  Adhere to front matte layer using dimensionals.
  • Wrap Linen thread around center of matted card front.  Adhere matted focal point to left flap only front of card base using dimensionals.
  • Using Pretty Peacock ink, stamp sentiment.  Fussy cut.  Adhere to card front using dimensionals.
  • Tie double bow.  Adhere to cardfront using rolled up mini glue dot.
  • Scatter sequins on front of card as desired.
  • Using Pretty Peacock ink, stamp sentiment on inner  message liner.  Using Memento ink, stamp heart image on lower left corner.  Use Stampin' Blends to color.  Adhere to inner matte layer.  Adhere to inner card base.
I hope you are wanting to give this card a try!
More coming your way tomorrow!
Hugs,
Teah
