Textured Floral/ Deckled Rectangle Dies, Brushed Brass Butterflies

One of my favorite things about stamping is the ability to customize. Today is my Mom's birthday. She loves flowers, butterflies and the colors purple and lavender. So I was more than happy to use all of that on a card just for her. I'm pretty sure mom is going to love it :)

Cutting instructions:

Card base: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4". This is a side fold card.
Front matte layer: largest die from Deckled Rectangle Dies
Card front layer: 2nd largest die from Deckled Rectangle Dies
Inner matte layer: largest die from Deckled Rectangle Dies
Inner message liner: 2nd largest die from Deckled Rectangle Dies

Pumpkin card

Abundant Beauty Masks, Timber 3D embossing folder

I really wanted to make a card with a pumpkin on it, but hadn't bought one of the seasonal stamp sets this year, so I decided to get EXTRA creative. I threw everything except the kitchen sink at this card......I used the Double Oval Punch to create the pumpkin. I used a sponge dauber with Pumpkin Pie ink around the edges of punched out ovals of Pumpkin Pie cardstock. To be honest, I created this pumpkin weeks ago.... and it has just been sitting on my desk waiting to be put on a card....... I had left over leaves from the Paper Florist Dies, fussy cut the smallest flower from the Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks and created the pumpkin stem from the Tree Rings Hybrid Dies. The wood grain panels are adhered to a window sheet to give a fence like look. I had fun just pulling a mix of supplies together for this card. And lets be honest, stamping is fun.... whether you use few supplies or a bit of everything like I did in this card today. Enjoy creating!

Abundant Beauty

Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks

This has been a very good weekend and today, I am beyond grateful.... for my strong faith, the deep love I have for my church, my loving husband and the location shift we made in our lives this year. "There is Sunshine in My Soul Today"... (one of my favorite church songs)

The sunflowers on this card remind me of sunshine!!

I created this card in a large batch for customer thank you's. The Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks are just so easy to use! They line up perfectly to create these detailed flowers. You can be as simple or complex as you want. After I was done using the blending brushes, I ran the inked cardstock through an embossing folder for texture. Easy peasy!
