I wanted to make a card using DSP as part of the stamped image and the Inked Botanicals 6" x 6" DSP fit the bill just perfectly.   Did you know that Stampin' Up!® has a Designer Series Paper Sale through the month of June?  Be sure to check out all the gorgeous papers!

Cutting Instructions:

  • Card base: Lost Lagoon - 7 1/4" x 4 1/4", scored at 5 1/2".  This is a top fold card.
  • Bottom of front card base: Lost Lagoon - 1 3/4" x 4 1/4"
  • DSP large print: 1 1/2" x 4" - 2 pcs,  5 1/4" x 4"
  • DSP small print: scrap to stamp outfit from image stamp.  
  • Scrap of Crushed Curry: stamp hat from image stamp
  • Front matte layer: Lost Lagoon - Use the 2nd largest Deckled Rectangle die
  • Card front: Very Vanilla - Use 3rd largest Deckled Rectangle Die
  • Inner matter layer: Lost Lagoon - Use the 2nd largest Deckled Rectangle die
  • Inner message liner: Very Vanilla - Use 3rd largest Deckled Rectangle die
  • Ribbon: 16"
Assembly instructions:
  • Crease score line using bone folder.
  • Apply large print DSP to inner card base and to the 2 sections of front card base.
  • Stamp sentiment at base of Very Vanilla cardfront.  Stamp image on upper portion of card front.
  • Use Stampin' Blends skin tones to color arms, Lemon Lolly to color beverage in glass, Copper Clay railing.
  • Stamp image on small print DSP.  Fussy cut outfit.  Adhere to stamped image on cardfront.
  • Stamp image on Crushed Curry cardstock.  Fussy cut hat. Apply using a dimensional.
  • Adhere cardfront to front matte layer.  
  • Adhere matted focal point so that  it is aligned top to bottom and side to side straddling the top and bottom sections.
  • Adhere message liner to inner matte layer.  Adhere to inner card base.
