Sometimes, you just need a really quick card.....and I do mean, super quick!
Today was one of those days for me. I had seen other cards where the Rays of Light stamp had been used to create a dynamic focal point that I liked...... so I decided to use that concept but tone on tone instead of contrast. And I must say that I really love how it turned out! I'm truly pleased with the whole card.
Cutting instructions:
- Card base- Early Espresso: 4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2". This is a side fold card
- Front and inner matte layers - Pecan Pie: 3 3/4" x 5"
- Scrap of Early Espresso to die cut matte layer for focal point (use 2nd largest circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies)
- Scrap of Basic White to die cut focal point (use 3rd largest circle from Stylish Shapes Dies)
- Inner message liner - Basic White: 3 1/2" x 4 3/4"
Assembly Instructions:
- Stamp both matte layers with Ray's of Light stamp using Pecan Pie ink on Pecan Pie cardstock.
- Adhere front matte layer to front card base.
- Stamp focal point image using Early Espresso ink on Basic White cardstock. Die cut circle. Adhere to matte layer circle. Adhere to matte layer using dimensionals
- Scatter adhesive dots
- Adhere message liner to inner matte layer. Adhere to inner card base.
See??!! Could that have been much easier?
I hope you like this card and will give it a try.
Thank you for visiting my blog today!!
Hugs,
Teah
