I created this card for a team swap. The theme was to use any of the new colors.
Fresh Freesia is a returning color and Lemon Lolly is a new color. The soft Sea Foam accents these colors beautifully. Then I chose Lost Lagoon (another returning color) to stamp the sentiment. All of my colors are from the Subtles collection and I think that the Artistically Inked stamp set was the perfect set to pull all these colors together.
Cutting instructions:
- Card base: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4". This is a side fold card
- Front and inner matte layers: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
- Card front layer: 3 3/4" x 5"
- Basic White scrap to stamp and die cut 2 large flowers and 3 small flowers
- Soft Sea Foam scrap to punch 3 leaf stems
- Inner message liner: 3 3/4" x 5"
Assembly Instructions:
- Using Lost Lagoon, stamp sentiment in lower right corner of card front.
- Adhere card front to front matte layer. Adhere to front of card base.
- Using Fresh Freesia ink, stamp 2 large flowers. Die cut.
- Using Lemon Lolly ink, stamp 3 small flowers. Die cut.
- Arrange then adhere flowers and leaf stems on card front using multipurpose adhesive for some of the flowers and dimensionals for others to create depth.
- Scatter Pastel Adhesive Backed Sequins on card front.
- Using Fresh Freesia ink, stamp a portion of a large flower in the bottom left corner of the message liner. Using Soft Sea Foam ink, stamp a set of leaves. Adhere message liner to inner matte layer. Adhere to inner card base.
