Gallery Blooms Color Challenge

Gallery Blooms + Everyday Arches + Damask Embossing Folder

Today I created this card as a participant in the March Ink & Inspiration Color Challenge. It's no secret that I like to create floral cards, and these cards really lend themselves to a flower arrangement. Gallery Blooms has been one of my favorite stamp and die bundles for the last year!!

March 2026 Color Challenge

Gallery Blooms + Everyday Arches + Damask Embossing Folder

The Damask embossing folder is so pretty and a creates a beautiful background behind a floral focal point. I used Stampin' Blender Pens to pick up ink from my ink pads to color the flowers and leaves.

I used the Everyday Arches Dies to carry the shape of the focal point on the front and also the inner card.

Inner View

Cutting Instructions:

Card base - Basic White Thick: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
Card front layer - Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4". This layer is embossed
Focal point base - Basic White: 3 1/2" x 4 1/2", use 4 largest arches die to cut
Large pink flower stem - Basic White: scrap to stamp and die cut 1 pc
Purple flower stems - Basic White: scrap to stamp and die cut 2 pcs
Yellow flowers - Basic White: scrap to stamp and die cut 2 pcs
Sentiment label - Basic White: scrap to stamp and punch
Inner matte layer - Lemon Lolly: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2", use largest arch die to cut
Inner message liner - Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4", use 2nd largest arch die to cut
Linen Thread: 18"

Assembly Instructions:

Adhere embossed card front layer to front of card base. Adhere focal point base to card front using dimensionals.
Using Pretty In Pink ink and a blender pen, color flowers on the largest stem. Using Lemon Lolly ink and blender pen, color center of flowers. Using Shaded Spruce and a blender pen color one edge of the leaves, then using Garden Green and a blender pen finish coloring the leaves for a two tone effect. Die cut.
Using Gorgeous Grape and a blender pen, color the cone shaped flower stems. Then using Shaded Spruce ink and blender pen, color the leaves. Die cut.
Using Lemon Lolly ink and blender pens, color remaining flowers. Using Garden Green and blender pens, color leaves and center of flowers. Die cut.
Arrange and adhere flowers on focal point base using dimensionals and mini glue dots. I had to trim a few leaves off of yellow and purple flowers in order to nestle them up a bit. Keep one of the yellow flowers for the inner card.
Using Tuxedo Black ink, stamp sentiment and punch.
Adhere Linen Thread double bow using a mini glue dot.
Scatter pearls on card front as desired.
Using Tuxedo Black ink, stamp sentiment on inner message liner. Adhere to inner matte layer. Adhere to inner card base. Adhere remaining flower to top of arch for a sweet addition to the inside of your card.

Paradise Garden Thank You Card

Paradise Garden Bundle

Most of the time when I sit down to create a card, I have a very specific plan. But for this card, I needed a little bit of me time..... so I just picked my bundle and went for it!

The foil card stock is very very beautiful, and I could not capture it with my camera no matter how many lighting arrangements I tried. There are three different colors in the pack, and they are all stunning! Thankfully, the detail view was able to capture the embossed card front..... one of my favorite embossing folders ever!!

Paradise Garden Bundle

The foil cardstock is supposed to be closer to Berry Burst, but in natural light I thought the Melon Mambo was a better match...... I am guessing that if I had used the Berry Burst, then the colors would have probably photographed as more of a match...... Regardless, I still like my Melon Mambo flowers!

Cutting Instructions:

Card base - Basic White: 5 1/2' x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
Card front layer - Berry Burst Foil: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
Embossed Layer - Basic White: 3 1/2" x 4 3/4"
Flowers - Basic White: scrap to stamp and die cut 1 pc
Big leaf bundle - Basic White: scrap to stamp and die cut 2 pcs
Small leaf bundle - Basic White: scrap to stamp and die cut 2 pcs.
Sentiment label - Basic White: 1 1/2" x 4" - die cut 1
Inner matte layer - Berry Burst: 4" x 5 1/4"
Inner message liner - Basic White: 3 3/4" x 5"

Assembly Instructions:

Adhere foil card front layer to front of card base. Adhere embossed layer to card front.
Using Shaded Spruce ink, stamp sentiment on label. Adhere using dimensionals.
Using Melon Mambo, stamp and die cut flowers. Adhere using dimensionals.
Using Shaded Spruce ink, stamp and die cut both sizes of leaves. Adhere using dimensionals and /or mini glue dots.
Add pearls to flower centers.
Using Shaded Spruce ink, stamp sentiment on inner message liner. Using Melon Mambo, stamp flower. adhere to inner matte layer. Adhere to inner card base.

Nature's Symphony in Secret Sea

Nature's Symphony Bundle + Beautiful Motifs Bundle + Lasting Linen Stamp + Stylish Shapes Dies

This weeks Monochromatic Insta Hop color is Secret Sea. I used a blending brush to create a lighter tone of Secret Sea on Basic White for the die cut fern.

The Lasting Linen background stamp created a great background for the card front. I distressed the edges of the card front by running the edge of my scissors along the edge, till it was appropriately frayed.

Cutting Instructions:

Card Base - Basic White: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
Card front layer - Basic White: 4 1/8" x 5 3/8"
Large leaf branch - Secret Sea: 4" x 4"
Fern Branch - Basic White: 3" x 4"
Sentiment label - Basic White: Scrap to die cut 1 pc
Sentiment label matte - Secret Sea: Scrap to die cut 1 pc
Inner matte layer - Secret Sea: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
Inner message liner - Basic White: 3 3/4" x 5"
Ribbon 10"

Assembly Instructions:

Using Secret Sea ink, stamp card front with Lasting Linen background stamp. Using edge of scissors blade, rough up all four edges till the desired distressed look is achieved.
Using Secret Sea ink and a blending brush, add a light layer of ink to Basic White cardstock. Die cut fern.
Adhere leaves and fern branches to card front using a mix of dimensionals and mini glue dots for depth. I used dimensionals on the back of the bigger leave, and mini glue dots on the back of the fern.
Using Secret Sea ink, stamp sentiment on label. Split the Secret Sea sentiment matte layer in half, and adhere to back of sentiment label. Adhere to card front using dimensionals.
Adhere bow using mini glue dots and scatter dots as desired.
Using Secret Sea ink, stamp sentiment on inner message liner. Using Secret Sea ink, stamp grunge lines on opposing corners (I stamped off one for a softer look). Adhere to inner matte layer. Adhere to inner card base.
