John and I just moved our home to another region of Washington state.  John started his new job today and today is my first day stamping since our move.  It's a brand new fresh start for us and daffodils seem like the perfect flower for my first card after moving.  It was just painful to have myy craft room packed up for 3 weeks.  I am so grateful for my craft room and that stamping helps to ground me amid the chaos of moving to a new city.

Cutting and assembly instructions:

  • Granny Apple Green: cut 2 using the 2nd largest Deckled Rectangle Die.  Use Stitched Greenery Die on both.  1 will be used on card front, 1 will be used as matte on inner card.

Favored Flowers - Thank you card

Favored Flowers Designer Series Paper and Timeworn Type Embossing Folder

Sale- A-Bration -- Favored Flowers Designers Series Paper

Today I am participating in Kylie Bertucci's Monthly International Blog Highlights.  Check out the gallery of participants at this link:   https://bit.ly/February2023VoteforMe

I do hope you will vote for me card when you visit the gallery.  Vote for your top 5, then the top 10 winners will be in a Winners Hop at the end of the month with Kylie.

These dynamic flowers are fussy cut from the Favored Flowers Designer Series Paper.  Not only is this paper gorgeous, it is also free with a qualifying $50 purchase through the end of February.

The black outlines on the flowers and leaves really made the fussy cutting quite easy.  I grabbed 4 of the sheets of DSP one night and just fussy cut my stress away (we are in the process of moving across the state) while I watched a movie.  I took my pile of flowers and started creating card fronts.   And I just want to say, that the Go To Greetings were the perfect font match to these flowers!  I love how this card turned out, and I hope you do too!  Remember, if you like it..... please vote for me at the link above.

Cutting Instructions:
  • Petal Pink card base: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2".  Scored at 4 1/4", this is a side fold card.
  • Basic Black matte layer.  2 pcs - 4" x 5 1/4". One will be the matte layer on the inner card.
  • Petal Pink card front: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8".  Emboss this layer
  • Basic White message liner: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
  • Basic White sentiment: 1" wide.  Punch each end to suit the length of your sentiment.
I hope you've been inspired to create a floral arrangement on a card front!

Don't forget that Sale-A-Bration is only good through the end of February, so don't miss out on the wonderful crafting freebies that are available!
