Pretty Pumpkins Thank You card

Pretty Pumpkins - Thank You Card

I love the sweet bows

Inner card

I created this card today, because I am participating in  Kylie and Bruno Bertucci's Demonstrator Training Program Blog Hop.  The theme is Thank You.  Below you will find a list of demonstrators that are all participating in this year long training program.  Everyone listed has a live link so you can visit as many of the artists (or all of them) as you have time for.  We do hope you will be inspired by the wide variety of paper crafters participating.

My card was created using the Pretty Pumpkins stamps and dies bundle from Stampin' Up!®.  All the product details are listed below.

All For Baby - Shower Card

All For Baby Shower gift set

All For Baby - card

Coordinating gift tags

What a blessing a baby is! I know several people having babies in the next few weeks, and I love to hand make baby gifts.  I also love to create a coordinating card, and gift tags to match the theme and colors of the actual gift.  I've always been all about the finishing touches!......

This is a top fold card.  I created the layers with the Scalloped Contour dies, and even ran one of the layers through an embossing folder.  The product details can be found at the end of this post.

One hint regarding stamping the teddy bear...... if the ink pad is very juicy..... you can't get a clear stamped image.  I used the back of a plastic spoon to push the excess ink to one side of the ink pad.  Then I was able to get a very clean stamped image.

Thanks for visiting my blog today.

Teah

Gorgeous Leaves - Much Gratitude

Heat embossed greeting using copper heat embossing powder

Dry emboss technique on card front using the Timber 3D embossing folder

The Knit look side panel was made using the Greenery Embossing folder

I had the pleasure of creating this card for World Card Making Day.  I focused on teaching how to create the dry embossed card front, by applying Soft Suede Ink, to the inside of the embossing folder.  You can see my demonstration on YouTube by clicking here.  The entire video is under 19 minutes!

Today I am sharing this card with you as part of Kylie Bertucci's Monthly International Blog Highlights.

If you like this card, Please vote for me here!    If I make the top 10, I will be able to participate in a Winners Blog Hop at the end of the month.

Below is a list of the products used to create this card.

I hope you will try the dry embossing technique!
Thank you for visiting my page today.
