Botanical Glow Bundle + Party Banner Dies + Sweetly Sentimental Hot Foil Dies

When I heard that Stampin' Up!® was going to release a Hot Foil System..... I was over the moon excited! I saved up my Stampin' Rewards just to make sure I was ready to go when the big release took place. I've been playing with it a little bit (it is boat racing season at our house). This is my first card. I have found the system easy to use and I am thrilled with the results!

The foil does have a different look if you use the two-toned cardstock versus the milled cardstock. The two-toned cardstock has a smoother finish and the milled cardstock has a bit of a texture. Personally I like the look of both.

This card was soooooo easy to make! After I cut the card front, I stamped the first set of leaves using Pretty Peacock ink on Lost Lagoon two tone card stock. Then I followed the instructions for the silver foil leaves. I used silver foil for the sentiment on Basic Black. Then I finished off the card with clear Dew Drops dots. So easy, right? I finished off the inside using the stamp to add a couple of leaves in two corners of the message liner.

Cutting Instructions:

Card base - Pretty Peacock: 4 1/4" x 11". Use fifth largest banner die to cut. Offset top of die to not cut the foldline.
Card front - Lost Lagoon Two-toned cardstock: 4" x 5 1/4". Use sixth largest banner die to cut.
Sentiment - Basic Black Two-toned cardstock: 3" x 4 1/2". The hot foil die includes 12 sentiments, and the die to cut, cuts out all at the same time.
Inner matte layer - Lost Lagoon Two-toned cardstock: 4" x 5 1/4" Use sixth largest banner to die cut.
Inner message liner - Basic White: 3 3/4" x 5". Use seventh largest banner to die cut.

Assembly Instructions:

Using Pretty Peacock ink, stamp leaves on card front layer. Using silver foil, hot foil leaves onto the card front. Adhere to front of card base.
Using silver foil, hot foil sentiments onto two-toned cardstock. Die cut. Adhere to card front using dimensionals.
Scatter dots on card front.
Using Pretty Peacock ink, stamp a couple of leaves on a corner or two of the inner message liner. Adhere to inner matte layer. Adhere to inner card base.
