Fern & Flora Happy Birthday Card

Fern & Flora Bundle + Fern & Flora 3D Embossing Folder + Banner Sayings Bundle

I created this sweet card for a monthly team card swap AND for today's Crafty Collaboration Product Insta Hop. I am following a theme of anything from the May - August catalog. I chose to focus on the Moonlit Flora Collection.

It is no secret that I love coloring with the Stampin' Blends and this little flowering branch gave me the opportunity to do just that. I've used Bubble Bath and Soft Sea Foam for the coloring. The single fern stem is Soft Sea Foam cardstock.

The base of the focal point is a piece of vellum that has also been embossed. I love the texture of this embossing folder so much!! And the detail dies are exquisite!

Cutting Instructions:

Card base - Basic White: 4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2"
Card front - Basic White: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8". This layer is embossed.
Focal point - Vellum: 3" x 3"l, use 2nd largest circle to die cut. This layer is embossed.
Fern - Soft Sea Foam: 1 3/4" x 4 1/2"
Flower - Basic White: 2" x 2"
Sentiment label - Basic White: scrap to punch 1 label
Inner matte layer - Bubble Bath: 3 7/8 x 5 1/8"
Inner message liner - Basic White: 3 3/4" x 5"
Ribbon: 10"

Assembly Instructions:

Adhere embossed card front to front of card base.
Adhere embossed vellum focal point to front of card base. I used dimensionals, strategically placed so that they don't show through the vellum.
Using Basic Gray ink, stamp sentiment on label and adhere to vellum using dimensionals.
Adhere Fern to vellum using mini glue dots.
Using Basic Gray ink, stamp flowers. Using Bubble Gum and Soft Sea Foam Stampin' Blends, color the flowers and leaves. Die cut. Adhere to focal point using dimensionals.
Adhere bow to flowers using mini glue dots.
Scatter pearls on card front.
Using Soft Sea Foam ink, stamp leaves on inner message liner. Adhere liner to inner matte layer. Adhere to the inner card base.
