Sunflower in Lemon Lime Twist

Sunflower Embossing Folder + Peaceful Pier Stamp Set

This weeks Monochromatic Insta Hop, by Crafty Collaborations, features Lemon Lime Twist! Here is the link to the original post. I used the Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder to create my focal point. Then I pulled my sentiment from Peaceful Pier stamp set.

To highlight the flowers, I drug my Whisper White Craft Ink Pad across the embossed Lemon Lime Twist paper. Then I matted in Basic White and another matte in Lemon Lime Twist.

I heat set one of my very favorite sentiments from the Peaceful Pier Stamp Set in white on the Lemon Lime Twist, and matched the matting from the focal point.

I love to decorate the inside of my cards too, but I don't have any stamps that look like sunflowers so I chose a leaf pattern from the Sunshine Vibes stamp set.

Cutting Instructions:

Card base - Basic White Thick: 4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2"
Matte layer #1 - Basic White: 2 5/8" x 5 1/2"
Matte layer #2 - Lemon Lime Twist: 2 3/4" x 5 1/2"
Focal point - Lemon Lime Twist: 2 1/2" x 5 1/2". This layer is embossed.
Sentiment matte #1- Basic White: 1 1/4" x 1 1/2"
Sentiment matte #2 - Lemon Lime Twist: 1 3/8" x 1 5/8"
Sentiment label - Lemon Lime Twist: 1 1/8" x 1 3/8"
Inner message liner - Basic White: 3 3/4" x 5"
Inner matte layer - Lemon Lime Twist: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"

Assembly Instructions:

Lightly drag the Whisper White Craft Ink Pad across the top of the embossed focal point layer. Adhere to matte layer #1. Adhere to matte layer #2. Adhere to front of card base.
Using Versamark ink, stamp sentiment on label. Coat with White embossing powder and heat set.
Adhere to mate layer #1. Adhere to matte layer #2. Adhere to card front using dimensionals.
Using Lemon Lime Twist ink, stamp leaves in upper right corner and lower left corner of message liner. Adhere to inner matte layer. Adhere to inner card base.
