Petals of Beauty in Pumpkin Pie

This weeks Monochromatic Insta Hop color is Pumpkin Pie. I've used a vellum overlay as well as tone on tone to create varying shades Pumpkin Pie.

The vellum over the Pumpkin Pie cardstock creates a muted version of the color. Then for the flowers, I applied Pumpkin Pie ink with a blending brush to Pumpkin Pie cardstock prior to die cutting the flowers.

Cutting Instructions:

Card base - Basic White: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
Card front layer - Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4". This layer is embossed.
Focal point layer - Pumpkin Pie: 2 3/4" x 4"
Focal point overlay - Vellum: 2 5/8" x 3 7/8"
Flowers - Pumpkin Pie: scrap to die cut 1 large and 3 small flowers
Leaves - Soft Sea Foam: scrap to die cut 2 stems of leaves
Sentiment label - Basic White: scrap to die cut label.
Inner matte layer - 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
Inner message liner - 3 3/4" x 5"
Linen Thread: 20"

Assembly Instructions:

Adhere embossed card front layer to front of card base.
Adhere vellum overlay to Pumpkin Pie focal point. Be careful to put adhesive in center only so that it will be covered by the flowers and leaves. Adhere to card front using dimensionals.
Using Pumpkin Pie ink and a blending brush, apply ink to pumpkin pie cardstock scrap. Die cut flowers. Adhere all but one flower to center of focal point. For the small flower on the front of the card I actually adhered one flat and used a dimensional to adhere the second one on top for depth. The large flower I just adhered flat. Adhere die cut leaves. I trimmed mine to a shorter length because for this card the focus is supposed to be on the Pumpkin Pie color.
Using Night of Navy ink, stamp sentiment. Adhere sentiment to focal point using dimensionals.
Adhere bow using mini glue dot. Scatter pearls on focal point as desired.
Adhere 4th flower to corner of the inner message liner. Adhere to inner matte layer. Adhere to inner card base.
