Snowflake Kisses in Basic Gray

Snowflake Kisses Bundle + Soft Waves Embossing Folder

Today's Monochromatic Insta Hop color is Basic Gray. While planning this card, I envisioned the look of snowflakes swirling on the wind. I loved layering the snowflake die cuts with vellum. It really softened the white snowflakes on the Basic Gray.

This card has a little bit of a flirty element between the outer sentiment and the inner sentiment. (Be sure to check it out )

To create the inner snowflake, I die cut 1 out of the message liner, then added the Basic Gray matte layer behind so that it peeks out.

Cutting Instructions:

Card base - Basic White: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4". This is a top fold card.
Front matte #1 - Basic Gray: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
Front matte #2 - Basic White: 3 3/4" x 5"
Card front layer - Basic Gray: 3 5/8" x 4 7/8". This layer is embossed.
Snowflakes - Basic White: scraps, die cut 3 medium sized snowflakes and 2 sets of small snowflakes.
Snowflakes - Vellum: scraps, die cut 3 large snowflakes and 1 set of small snowflakes
Sentiment label - Basic Gray: 2" x 2", Die cut using 4 largest circle die.
Inner matte layer - Basic Gray: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
Inner message liner - Basic White: 3 3/4" x 5"
Ribbon: 10"

Assembly Instructions:

Adhere front matte layer #2 to front matte layer #1. Adhere embossed card front layer. Adhere these 3 layers to front of card base.
Adhere 3 medium Basic White snowflakes to the 3 large vellum snowflakes. Adhere to card front. Adhere remaining snowflakes on card front.
Using Versamark ink, stamp sentiment on label. Coat with White embossing powder and then heat set. Adhere sentiment label to card front using dimensionals.
Adhere bow using mini glue dot.
Adhere iridescent pearls to centers of snowflakes.
Using snowflake die, die cut a peek a boo in one corner of the inner message liner. Adhere inner liner to inner matte layer. Adhere to inner card base.
