Gallery Blooms in Gorgeous Grape

Gallery Blooms Bundle + Simply Said Stamp Set + Exposed Brick Embossing Folder

This weeks Crafty Collaborations Monochromatic Insta Hop color is Gorgeous Grape. To be super honest, all week I couldn't figure out what I was going to create with this color. But when I sat down with my tried and true Gallery Blooms Bundle, it came together very quickly. I am rather smitten with how this card turned out!

I used blender pens & ink to color in the flowers and leaves. Then I added a little extra pop to the center of the bigger flowers by coloring the centers with Basic Black Stampin' Blends. You can see here how easy it is to layer the flowers.

I could have just stamped the inner flower on the inner message liner, but I really like the look of the leaves overlapping the matte border.

Cutting Instructions:

Card Base - Basic White: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
Front matte layer - Gorgeous Grape: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
Card front layer - Basic White: 3 3/4" x 5". This layer is embossed.
Base of focal point - Basic White: Scrap, die cut using largest rectangle.
Large flowers - Basic White: Scrap to stamp and die cut 2
Smaller flowers - Basic White: Scrap to stamp and die cut 4
Inner matte layer - Gorgeous Grape: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
Inner message liner - Basic White: 3 3/4" x 5"
Linen Thread: 20"

Assembly Instructions:

Adhere card front layer to front matte layer. Adhere to front of card base using dimensionals.
Using Jet Black Stazon ink, stamp sentiment on focal point base. Adhere to card front using dimensionals
Using Jet Black Stazon ink, stamp all flowers. Using blender pens, color all flowers with Gorgeous Grape ink and all leaves with Soft Sea Foam ink. Die cut. Save aside one of the smaller flowers fot the inner card. Arrange remaining flowers around focal point base and adhere using mini glue dots and dimensionals.
Adhere a double linen thread bow using a mini glue dot. Scatter pearls on card front as desired.
Using Jet Black Stazon ink, stamp sentiment on inner message liner. Adhere to inner matte layer. Adhere to inner card base. Adhere remaining flower in lower left corner.
