This weeks Monochromatic Insta Hop color is Flirty Flamingo. I realized today, that I do not use this color enough! I really loved working with this color for this project.... especially the gradient.

After I used the blending brush to add a gradient effect to the background, I stamped the grasses in Flirty Flamingo. Then I stamped again in Versamark and heat set with Bright White Wow embossing powder to create that layer of depth.
- Card base - Basic White Thick: 5-1/2" x 8-1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
- Front matte layer #1 - Flirty Flamingo: 3-7/8" x 5-1/8"
- Front matte layer #2 - Basic White: 3-3/4" x 5"
- Card front layer - Basic White: 3-5/8" x 4-7/8"
- Sentiment matte layer - Flirty Flamingo: 1-1/4" x 1-3/4"
- Sentiment layer - Basic White: 1-1/8" x 1-5/8"
- Inner matte layer - Flirty Flamingo: 3-7/8" x 5-1/8"
- Inner message liner - Basic White: 3-3/4" x 5"
Assembly Instructions:
- Using Flirty Flamingo ink and a blending brush, apply ink to card front layer. I used more ink at the bottom and less ink at the top to create a gradient appearance.
- Using Flirty Flamingo ink, stamp grasses on card front. Dry well before next step.
- Use embossing body to remove static from card front. Using Versamark ink, stamp grasses again. Coat with Bright White embossing powder and heat set with heat tool.
- Adhere card front layer to front matte layer #2. Adhere to front matte layer #1. Adhere to front of card base using dimensionals.
- Using Flirty Flamingo ink, stamp sentiment on label. Adhere to sentiment matte layer. Adhere to card front using dimensionals.
- Using Flirty Flamingo ink and a blending brush, apply ink to left side of message liner. I used more ink at the bottom and less ink at the top to create a gradient appearance.
- Using Flirty Flamingo ink, stamp grasses and sentiment on message liner.
- Adhere to inner matte layer. Adhere to inner card base.
