This weeks Monochromatic Insta Hop color is Smoky Slate. You will find the original Instagram post HERE. Although not a traditional flower color, this beautiful gray allows for awesome shading in flower petals.

Did you know that you can use the Stampin' Blends to color ribbons and gems to color your ribbons and gems? For this card I used the Light Smoky Slate to color the White ribbons. I LOVE how this turned out!
Cutting Instructions:
- Card base - Basic White Thick: 4-1/4" x 11", scored at 5-1/2". This is a top fold card.
- Card front layer - Basic White: 4-1/4" x 5-1/2". This layer is embossed.
- Frame - Smoky Slate: 3-1/2" x 5". Die cut 2 pcs of the smaller frame.
- Flowers - Basic White: 4" x 5", Die cut 3 pcs after after stamping.
- Floral filler - Basic White: 3" x 4". Detail die cut 2 pcs
- Sentiment label - Basic White: 2" x 2-3/4". Die cut using the 2nd largest square die. Adjust size as needed by re-aligning the die to shorten if necessary.
- Inner matte layer: 3-7/8" x 5-1/8"
- Inner message liner: 3-3/4" x 5"
Assembly Instructions:
- Using bone folder, burnish score line on card base.
- Adhere embossed card front to front of card base.
- Adhere the 2 frames together for a more stable layer. Adhere to card front using dimensionals.
- Using Tuxedo Black ink, stamp 3 sets of flowers. Using Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends, color in flowers with light and shade with dark. Using Light Soft Sea Foam Stampin' Blends, color in leaves. Die cut. Adhere to frame using dimensionals. I added extra dimensionals under the middle set so that there was extra depth.
- Using Smoky Slate ink and a blending brush, apply ink to Basic White cardstock. Detail die cut 2 floral filler. Cut apart and add to flowers using mini glue dots.
- Using Light Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends, color ribbon. Adhere bow to flowers using a mini glue dot.
- Using Tuxedo Black ink, stamp sentiment on sentiment label. Adhere to card front using dimensionals.
- Scatter pearls on card front.
- Using Tuxedo Black ink, stamp image on inner message liner. Using Stampin' Blends, color image to coordinate with flowers on card front.
- Adhere message liner to inner matte layer. Adhere to inner card base.
