Winter Adventures with Gold Buffalo Check

Winter Adventures Bundle + Buffalo Check Hot Foil Die

Today's card has been created for the Crafty Collaborations Product Insta Hop. This months theme is Accents and Elements.

This card features a few sneak peeks of products that will be available starting September 1st. I will list the item #'s at the end of my post, right above the active links.

The Whispering Woods 12" x 12" DSP is just gorgeous blend of greens and blues.

Winter Adventures Bundle I used for the sentiments and the die cut trees.

Buffalo Check Hot Foil Die was used with Gold foil on Peaceful Pine cardstock for both the card front and the inner matte layer.

Gold Adhesive Backed Dots have been scattered on the focal point.

I let the DSP colors dictate the colors I used on this card. The card base is Pretty Peacock, the Gold foil was applied to Peaceful Pine. I love how well the colors play together!

Cutting Instructions:

Card base - Pretty Peacock: 4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2"
Card front layer - Peaceful Pine: 4" x 5 1/4", This layer will be hot foiled.
Focal point matte layer - Pretty Peacock: 3 7/8" x 4 1/8"
Focal point - DSP #1: 3 3/4" x 4"
Trees - DSP #2: 2 1/2" x 3", detail die cut two pieces
Gold Tree - Gold Foil: 1 1/4" x 3", detail die cut one piece
Inner matte layer - Peaceful Pine: 4" x 5 1/4", this layer will be hot foiled.
Inner message liner - Basic White: 3 3/4" x 5"

Assembly Instructions:

Apply Gold Foil to the two Peaceful Pine pieces, using the hot foil system.
Adhere hot foiled card front layer to front of card base.
Using Peaceful Pine ink, stamp sentiment at lower right corner of focal point DSP. Adhere focal point DSP to focal point matte layer. Adhere to card front using dimensionals.
Adhere one DSP tree and the gold foil tree to left side of focal point.
Scatter gold dots on focal point.
Adhere hot foiled inner matte layer to inner card base.
Using Peaceful Pine ink, stamp sentiment on inner message liner. Adhere to inner matte layer. Adhere remaining DSP tree to inner left corner of message liner.
