Metallic Decorative Trees

Decorative Trees stamp set + Wishing You Joy stamp set

This idea has been in the back of my head for a couple of weeks, and I finally had the opportunity to try it out...... All metallic trees using the Wow! Metallic Embossing Powders! It is funny what will inspire a crafter.... in this case it was the ribbon.... Mossy Meadow with Gold.

The use of a blending brush and tonal ink creates a subtle yet rich border on the card front. The Gold Foil cardstock makes the perfect frame for these metallic trees.

Cutting Instructions:

Card base - Mossy Meadow: 4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2".
Front matte layer - Gold Foil: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
Card front layer - Mossy Meadow: 3 3/4" x 5"
Tree - Mossy Meadow: Scrap
Sentiment label - Mossy Meadow: Scrap
Inner matte layer - Gold Foil: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
Inner message liner - 3 3/4" x 5"
Ribbon: 18"

Assembly Instructions:

Using blending brush and Mossy Meadow ink, add ink to the card front edges... leaving the center lighter. Using Versamark ink, stamp tree on left side of card front. Coat with Silver embossing powder and heat set. Using Versamark ink, stamp tree on right side of card front. Coat with Gold embossing powder and heat set. Adhere card front to front matte layer. Wrap ribbon around lower area of card front and matte layer, attaching ends on the back using tape. Adhere to front of card base using dimensionals.
On scrap stamp tree using Versamark ink, coat with copper embossing powder and heat set. Fussy cut tree. Adhere to card front using dimensionals. Adhere Gold metallic gem to top of tree.
On scrap, stamp sentiment using Versamark ink. Coat with Gold embossing powder and heat set. Use banner die to die cut label. Adhere on ribbon at base of center tree using dimensionals.
Adhere bow using mini glue dots. Scatter gems on card front.
Using Mossy Meadow ink, stamp sentiment on inner message liner. Using Versamark ink, stamp tree in lower left corner, coat with Gold embossing powder and heat set. Adhere message liner to inner matte layer. Adhere to inner card base.
