Wishing You Joy + Traditions of Christmas DSP + Gathering Together DSP

I created this card as 1 of 4 make n' takes for my catalog launch party. I'm just crazy in love with the Traditions of Christmas DSP! It is just stunning and ridiculously easy to create gorgeous cards with.

The gold foil in both the DSP and as the matting creates a subtle elegance that brings back memories of my Grandma Marie's Christmas decorations (I inherited her red and gold glass balls!!)

Cutting Instructions:

Card base - Basic White Thick: 4-1/4" x 11", scored at 5-1/2". This is a top fold card.
Card Front - DSP: 4" x 5-1/4"
Side strip matte layer - Gold Foil: 2" x 5-1/4"
Side Strip - DSP: 1-7/8" x 5-1/4"
Sentiment label - Basic White: 2-1/4" x 2-1/2", punch this label
Sentiment label matte - Gold Foil: 2-1/4" x 2-1/2", punch this label, then cut in half horizontally.
Inner matte layer - Old Olive: 3-7/8" x 5-1/8"
Inner message liner - Basic White: 3-3/4" x 5"
Inner DSP strip: 1/2" x 5"

Assembly Instructions:

Adhere card front layer to front of card base.
Adhere side strip DSP to side strip matte layer. Adhere to card front using dimensionals.
Using Real Red ink, stamp sentiment on label. Adhere the sentiment matte layer to back of label, so that a tip of the foil is exposed on the top and bottom of the label. Adhere to card front and side strip using dimensionals.
Scatter rhinestones on card front.
Using Real Red ink, stamp sentiment on inner message liner. Adhere inner DSP strip to left side of message liner. Adhere to inner matte layer. Adhere to inner card base.

Gathering Together DSP + Amber Autumn stamp set

I created this card as 1 of 4 make n' takes for my catalog launch party. It turned out to be one of the crowd favorites.

The Earth Toned Metallic Sheets are just stunning! You hardly need any other adornment! I did use the Cajun Craze and Gold Dots to coordinate so perfectly with the Gathering Together DSP.

Cutting Instructions:

Card base - Crumb Cake: 5-1/2" x 8-1/2", scored at 4-1/4"/. This is a top fold card.
Front matte layer - Earth Toned Metallic Sheet: 3-3/4" x 5"
DSP panels: 1-1/2" x 3-1/2", cut 3
Sentiment accent label - Earth Toned Metallic Sheet: 2-1/2" x 1", die cut using largest short banner die.
Sentiment label- Basic Beige: 1/2" x 2-1/4"
Inner message liner - Basic Beige: 3-7/8" x 5-1/8"
Inner DSP strip: 3/8" x 5-1/8"

Assembly Instructions:

Adhere 3 panels on front matte layer. Adhere to front of card base using dimensionals.
Using Early Espresso ink, stamp sentiment on label. Adhere to front of accent label. Adhere to card front using dimensionals.
Scatter gems on card front.
Adhere DSP strip to inner message liner. Adhere to inner card base.

Gallery Blooms Crushed Curry

Gallery Blooms + The Right Words

This weeks Crafty Collaborations Monochromatic Insta Hop color is Crushed Curry! I chose to use the Gallery Blooms Bundle to create these rich gold toned flowers.

I stamped the flowers in Early Espresso, then I used a blender pen to color the flowers and leaves. I've really grown to love this technique.

Cutting Instructions:

Card base - Basic White Thick: 5-1/2" x 8-1/2", scored at 4-1/4". This is a top fold card.
Front matte layer - Early Espresso: 3-7/8" x 5-1/8"
Card front layer - Crushed Curry: 3-3/4" x 5". This layer is embossed.
Sentiment label matte layer - Early Espresso: 2-1/2" x 4-1/2". Use the 2nd largest die.
Sentiment label - Basic White: 2" x 4", Use the 3rd largest die.
Flowers - Basic White: 4-1/4" x 5-1/2". Stamp and die cut 4 sets.
Inner matte layer - Crushed Curry: 3-7/8" x 5-1/8"
Inner message liner - Basic White: 3-3/4" x 5"
Linen thread: 20"

Assembly Instructions:

Adhere embossed card front layer to the front matte layer. Adhere to front of card base.
Using Early Espresso ink, stamp sentiment on right side of sentiment label. Adhere to front of sentiment matte layer. Adhere to card front using dimensionals.
Using Early Espresso ink, stamp flowers (4). Using blender pen and Crushed Curry ink, color flower petals. Use Pumpkin Pie ink to color the flower centers and Old Olive ink to color the leaves. Die cut. Use 3 of the flowers to adorn the left side of the sentiment label. I used dimensionals under one set for depth.
Adhere a linen thread double bow using a mini glue dot.
Scatter gems on card front.
Using Early Espresso ink, stamp sentiment on inner message liner. Adhere to inner matte layer. Adhere to inner card base. Adhere the 4th flower to upper right corner.
