I am happy to share a free tutorial so you can make this card too! You will find those instructions after the inner view photo.

The Monochromatic color week is Granny Apple Green

I love how vibrant and happy Granny Apple Green is! I literally feel more happy energy when I work with this color. To create depth of color in my flowers I used the Stampin' Blends combo pack of both light and dark in Granny Apply Green.

Cutting instructions:

Card base - Basic White Thick: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4". This is a side fold card.
Front matte layer - Granny Apple Green: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
Embossed card front layer - Basic White: 3 3/4" x 5"
Frame layer - Basic White Thick: 3 pcs of 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" . The die for the frame actually cuts out 2 frames at the same time, 1 large and 1 small. I used 3 layers of the small frame, and set aside the large frames for another project at a later time.
Flowers - Basic White: 2 pcs 2 1/2" x 4 1/2".
Leaves - Granny Apple Green: Scrap, die cut 5 pcs
Sentiment label - Basic Black: 5/8" x 2"
Inner matte layer - Granny Apple Green: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
Inner message liner - Basic White: 3 3/4" x 5"
Inner flowers - Basic White: 2 1/2" x 3"
Ribbon: 10"

Assembly Instructions:

Using bone folder, burnish fold line well.
Using Exposed Brick embossing folder, emboss card front layer. Using Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends, flick some spatters on the embossed card front layer. Adhere to front matte layer. Adhere to front of card base.
Adhere all three layers of small frame to each other to create a thicker frame. Adhere to card front using dimensionals.
Using Tuxedo Black ink, stamp 2 large flower stems and 1 small flower cluster. Using Granny Apple Stampin' Blends, color flowers predominately with the light blend. Use the dark blend for the leaves and shadows. Use dark Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blend for flower centers. Die cut silhouettes. Adhere to the two larger flower stems to the card front. I tucked the ends under the bottom of the frame, then adhered using dimensionals.
Using mini glue dots, tuck in leaves around the floral stems.
Using Versamark ink, stamp sentiment on sentiment label. Add White embossing powder, and set with heat tool. Banner cut both ends of the label. Adhere to focal point using dimensionals.
Add bow using mini glue dot to base of stems.
Using dark Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blend, color rhinestones. Adhere around focal point.
Adhere inner message liner to inner matte layer. Adhere to inner card base. Adhere die cut small floral cluster in lower left corner of message liner.

Delightful Wishes Wedding Card

One of the very best things about hand crafting cards, is that I can customize my cards for my family and friends. In other words, I can pour sentimentality, color schemes, themes, etc.... into my cards.

In the coming days, my nephew and his fiancè will be married. I've agonized over this wedding because even though it is only a few hours from my home, I am unable to attend. I'm just not healed enough from my recent back surgery. I've never missed a graduation, play, wedding, or other special occasion that included my nephews or niece; so this is particularly hard on me this time.

To get over my disappointment of not attending, I poured so much love into this card! The happy couple is getting married outside, so I put a lot of thought into my floral portion of my focal point.

To create depth, I stacked the vellum flowers. Below you will find the complete tutorial. This was a fairly easy card to make...... not quick, just easy. At the end of this post you will find the complete list of products used.

In stacked view #1, you can see that there are 3 layers of the same flower. First layer is adhered to the card front. 2nd layer is adhered using one mini dimensional in the middle of the flower. The petals are aligned. 3rd layer is adhered the same as the 2nd layer.

In stacked view #2, you can see that the flowers are not all the same height. Some are single layer, adhered to the card front using a mini glue dot in the middle of the flower. Some are double layer, with the 2nd layer being adhered using a mini dimensional in the center of the second flower. Then as seen in stacked view #1, some flowers have 3 layers.

Cutting Instructions:

Card base - Basic White Thick: 4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2". This is a side fold card.
Front matte layer - DSP: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
Card front layer - Basic White: 3 5/8" x 4 7/8"
Flowers - Specialty DSP: Die cut 12
Leaves - Specialty DSP: Die cut 5
Wishing shadow - Basic White: Scrap - die cut
Wishing - Early Espresso: Scrap - die cut (apply adhesive sheet to back of cardstock prior to die-cutting)
Sentiment label - Basic White: Scrap - die cut
Inner matte layer- DSP: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
Inner message liner - Basic White: 3 5/8" x 4 7/8"

Assembly Instructions:

Using bone folder, burnish fold.
Using blending brush and Lemon Lolly ink, add ink to center of card front layer.
Using Daffodil Delight ink, randomly stamp flower outlines and dots on the Lemon Lolly area.
Adhere card front to front matte layer. Adhere to front of card base.
Using mini glue dots in center back of each flower, adhere first layer of flower arrangement on card front. Using mini dimensionals, stack a few of the flower with a second layer, and a couple more with a third layer.
Please adhesive sheet backer off of Early Espresso word Wishing, and adhere to shadow layer. adhere across flowers using dimensionals (I had to hand trim them down to the size I needed). Some area's may need 2 layers of dimensionals in order to keep flat.
Using Early Espresso, stamp remaining sentiment on Basic White. Die cut label to size. Adhere below Wishing.
Using mini glue dots, adhere leaves.
Using Mini Glue dots adhere bees.
Using blending brush and Lemon Lolly ink, add ink to center of inner message liner.
Using Early Espresso ink, stamp sentiment.
Using Daffodil Delight, stamp a flower image next to sentiment.
Adhere inner message liner to inner matte layer. Adhere to inner card base.
