Beautiful Gallery DSP & Gallery Blooms Dies

It is no secret that I love to make cards for my friends and family.... It is one of the reasons that I started card making, just so I could customize for those I love.  I made this card for a dear friend that John and I just love so much.  The Beautiful Gallery DSP is LOADED with beautiful images and I am especially pleased with a few of the images that can be for male or female cards.  This DSP is truly limitless.

This card might look complicated, but it isn't at all!  Especially since the frames and center all cut out in one action.  I beefed up the frames by layering the DSP on cardstock, so each frame has some rigidity to it.  I hope you are tempted to make this card.  Once you do, you will be hooked on this super simple technique.  Please enjoy the free tutorial listed below.  You will find a list of the products used at the end of this post.

Cutting Instructions:

• Card base - Secret Sea: 4 1/4" x 1l", scored at 5 1/2".  This is a side fold card.
• Front matte layer - Misty Moonlight: 4" x 5 3/8"
• Front DSP: 3 3/4" x 5 1/2". Center focal point of scene in center of frame dies.  This will cut out the center, small frame and large frame all at one time.
• Front DSP backer layer - Misty Moonlight: 3 3/4" x 5 1/2".  The frame dies will cut out the center, small frame and large frame all at one time.
• Sentiment label - Crumb Cake: 3/8" x 2 1/4"
• Inner matte layer - Misty Moonlight: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
• Inner message liner - Basic White: 3 3/4" x 5"
• Inner DSP strip: 3/8" x 5"

Assembly Instructions:

• Using bone folder, crease score line.
• Adhere DSP large frame to Misty Moonlight large frame, DSP small frame to Misty Moonlight small frame, and DSP center to Misty Moonlight center.  
• Add dimensionals to back of large frame.  Stack the dimensionals 2 high.  Adhere the large frame on the front matte layer.  
• Add single layer of dimensionals to back of small frame.  Adhere the small frame on the inside of the large frame on matte layer.
• Adhere center to the inside of the small frame.
• Adhere matted DSP to front of card base.
• Using Secret Sea ink, stamp sentiment on sentiment label.  Bevel cut end of label if desired.  Adhere to lower right corner of small frame using dimensionals.
• Scatter metallic gems as desired on focal point.
• Using Secret Sea ink, stamp sentiment on inner message liner.
• Adhere DSP strip along top of inner message liner.  Adhere message liner to inner matte layer.  Adhere to inner card base.
