Polished Pink - Thank you card

Polished Pink - Thank you card

Today I am participating in the Ink and Inspiration Blog Hop.  This months theme is Color, as interpreted by the artist.

My featured color is Polished Pink.  I love this new Polished Pink that was introduced as one of the new 2021-2023 In Colors.  I've always had a love for Pink and Grey paired together, and today I elevated that grey to Silver.  I really love how this card turned out.

A clean and simple card, I used one of the masks in the Plenty of Patterns Decorative Masks.  I used a blending brush to apply the Polished Pink ink.  Then topped it off with the Silver Epoxy Essentials gems, because the gems matched the shapes in the mask.  it worked perfectly together.   Then applied the Silver foil sheet as a mat behind my image layer.  I love how this turned out.

The finished card is 5 1/2" x 4 1/4".  If you are interested in the details, the list of products used are at the end of this post.

I hope you will take the time to check out all of the artists links listed below.  Every person worked with the same theme of Color, but guaranteed, no two cards will be alike.

Suit and Tie dies - Mission Accomplished cards

Mission Accomplished- Welcome home card

Today I am participating in a Multicultural Day Blog Hop.  There is a list of links below, that allow you to explore representation of several different cultures, beliefs, and even some fandoms.  I do hope you will explore the links to be inspired to express yourself through creativity.

As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, it was a treat for me to make some cards  for returning missionaries! The inside of the card says "mission accomplished"!

From the moment I saw the Suit and Tie dies, I knew what I was going to make.  The options are truly endless too.  I will be using the same dies to make cards for Baptism, and for a Temple Sealing.

Pair the dies with some designer series paper, maybe some embellishments, and you have a finished card in no time.  I even used an embossing folder to create texture to the fabric.

Details for the supplies are listed at the end of this post.

Painted Poppies Thank you card

Painted Poppies - Thank You card

As part of Bruno and Kylie Bertucci's Demonstrator Training Program, I have the opportunity to participate in their monthly blog hop.  I created this card specifically for the June blog hop.

I really wanted to use Black heat set embossing powder with a flower stamp, and when I spotted my Painted Poppies stamp set, I knew I picked the perfect set.  My goal was for the center of the flower to be somewhat dimensional, and the heat embossing created the exact look I wanted.  The leaves and the sentiment are heat embossed as well.  The flowing curves of the flowers and leaves made it very easy to fussy cut them.  The top and bottom flowers are popped up on dimensionals.  Then the center flower is popped up on stacked dimensionals.  Two of the leaves were applied with adhesive, but the center leaf is popped up with dimensionals as well.

Due to the visual strength of the embossing, I wanted a mat color that popped from behind the DSP...... The Poppy Parade cardstock helped to create the perfect balance in this card.

Details and direct links of products used can be found at the end of this post.

The beauty of a Blog hop, is that all of the participants have the same links, so you don't have to go back to my page to visit others.  Just go down the list, from blog to blog..... and be inspired by all the work that is presented.  Feel free to leave a comment, I would love to hear what you think of my card.

Artistically Inked Birthday card

Artistically Inked Birthday Card

The sparkly Ombre Specialty Paper has intrigued me since it was introduced in the 2021-2022 catalog.  My desire was for it to shine through and not be covered up by other elements.  The Artistically inked bundle was perfect for this!

The largest die, cut out of water color paper, then I water painted the bright cheery colors.  This card screams happiness.  and was just so easy!  The hardest part was waiting for the water color paper to dry.... and that really didn't take all that long....

There is a list of products used at the end of this post.
