Twisted In Time |
I just had to make another Twisted In Time card using the Country Woods DSP! This time I chose the rich browns because I wanted to use Old Olive for the canopy of the tree.

I really like the country flair of the gingham ribbon paired with the woodgrain DSP.

You will find that this card is quite easy to make. The hardest part was that I didn't line up the canopy with the trunk very well, so the silhouette die didn't line up...... I ended up fussy cutting.
Cutting Instructions:
- Card base - Basic White Thick: 4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2". This is a top fold card.
- Front matte layer - Early Espresso: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
- Card front layer - DSP: 3 3/4" x 5"
- Tree - Basic White: 4" x 4"
- Sentiment label - Basic White: Die cut 1 1/4" circle
- Inner matte layer - Early Espresso: 3 7/8" x 5 1/2"
- Inner message liner - Basic White: 3 3/4" x 5"
- Inner DSP strip - DSP: 3/8" x 5"
- Ribbon: 15"
Assembly Instructions:
- Using bone folder, burnish score line.
- Adhere DSP card front to front matte layer. Wrap ribbon across lower edge of card front, about 1" up from bottom. Tape ends of ribbon to back of matte. Adhere to front of card base.
- Using Early Espresso ink, stamp tree trunk. Using Old Olive ink, stamp detailed tree canopy and canopy filler. Using paper snips, I fussy cut the tree out because I didn't line up the stamps so that I could use the die cut the silhouettte. Adhere to card front using dimensionals.
- Using Early Espresso ink to stamp sentiment on label. Adhere to card front using dimensionals.
- Adhere bow with mini glue dot.
- Scatter sequins across card front.
- Adhere DSP strip to inner message liner. Adhere to inner matte layer. Adhere to inner card base.
